because South Eastern Kings Cross, London, is a place where people live and work!

Those rubbish signs are good!

Camden Council appears to have put up signs around Acton and Swinton Street in Kings Cross (tell us if you spot them elsewhere too) that inform residents when rubbish is being collected. Signs emerged today on a number of street poles.

The signs were a suggestion by the community during a meeting with representatives from the council.

By putting up signs on the street, anyone can now know on which day rubbish and recycling are being collected, including temporary residents like students and visitors.

It took Camden a long while to produce these, but better late than never. It is an indication that concerns and solution suggestions were heard and acted upon. That’s some good news for Kings Cross!
